Hii how are you?
I’m at the airport in Virginia, flying from my mom’s beach house to direct a music video for my friend, Chris Wills. Things are feeling good!
I was pretty depressed for a few months.. I’m starting to crawl out of that space! Who knows, it’s so hard to be alive. Sadness always creeps in. But it’s feeling like an upswing now so I’m trying to ride that. Have you heard of the book The Big Leap? I started it a while ago and I think it’s time I revisit. It’s about the fact that we limit our happiness. We put a ceiling to how well we think we can do or be. Or how good we can feel. So ya, I’m working on that.
I’m preparing to release new music next month, I made a music video for it, and I feel super excited about playing NYC and LA in September!!
I want the shows to sell out. Actually, if you’re planning on coming, get your ticket now! It is really helpful as an artist to be able to sell out my shows. We are measured by so many metrics, but that’s the largest one for artists like me. And yeah I’m starting to think about my show! I want to play new music. I’ve been writing a lot in Chicago with my friend, artist McFabulous. So I’ll play some of those songs and they’re amazing I think.
That’s kind of all I have for now. I’ll be in touch when my next song is out. Thank you for supporting my art, from HOLYCHILD to now! Thanks for getting tickets to the show! I’m so excited to play the new stuff live.
