On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November, The Heart of Surry Hills is throwing a massive free DJ day party in Shannon Reserve to celebrate the last weekend of the event series.
The two-day outdoor party will run from 12 pm-7 pm on both days and feature live music and DJs, food and beverage celebrating local brewers and distillers.
To celebrate the weekend in Surry Hills there is entertainment in loads of local venues including the Clock Hotel, Forrester’s, BRIX Distillers, Bartolo Wine Room, Bar Conte, Tilly Mays, Trinity Hotel, Shaffa and Tokki Highball Bar will also be hosting a rotating schedule of DJ’s and bands as well as offering special food and beverage deals to encourage punters to get out and explore the offerings of the iconic suburb.
Expect epic DJ sets in the park from the likes of Saturday 26. Maxine and Olly ‘Mixology’, Dollar Bin Darlings: Jonny and Baby K-OS, Stereogamous: Paul Mac and Jonny Seymour, and Sunday 27 Victoria Anthony, DJ Sani and our first lady of House DJ Kate Monroe.
BRIX Distillers, Four Pillars, Yulli’s Brew and Hawkes Brewing Co will be on hand serving up some frosty bevs to help keep the vibes high.
While the beats are pumping and the drinks flowing, revellers can munch on morsels prepared by the likes of MAPO Ice Cream, The Gnocchi Way, Sofrito Paella, Citrus & Sugar and Lucio’s Pizzeria.
The massive free party marks the final weekend of the Heart of Surry Hills, a big, bold all-encompassing month-long showcase of the iconic venues, fine dining, live music from local talent, amazing pubs, and gorgeous parklands that make up one of Sydney’s most creative, culinary and culture-driven inner-city suburbs, just two kilometres from the CBD.
