KLP’s ‘Symphony’ is the kickstart to a larger body of work to come

KLP’s enthralling single ‘Symphony,’ serves as a prelude to her highly anticipated EP scheduled for June. Additionally, she’s set to embark on a national tour.

KLP’s versatility shines through as she follows the success of her impactful singles like ‘Body Close‘ and the dynamic collaboration ‘Freedom‘ with Loods. This latest single sees KLP blending house music with rave and techno influences, showcasing her well-established production expertise across its nearly 3-minute runtime.

‘Symphony’ introduces a scintillating anthem, characterised by a bassline, piano hooks, and an topline. KLP provides insight into the collaborative process, revealing that the track’s inception took place in her Marrickville studio, “I couldn’t quite figure out what exactly to do with it [Symphony], so I sent it out to a few different friends to see if they could help get it sitting where I knew it could land. Loods and Dave Winnel both hit me back, and together we all got it sitting sweet how you hear it now,” KLP explains. “Dave really helped get the bed sitting nice, and Loods came in with those hot keys that really just gave it the right energy I was looking for. The end result is a melancholy but hopeful earworm that just keeps running in my head! It’s the first track off an EP coming over the next few months… stay tuned.”

As KLP continues to captivate Eat This Music – and to an extent audiences – with her soothing, dance-infused beats, ‘Symphony’ is just another small taste of her expertise, which also sets the stage for an exciting musical journey in 2024 and the kickstart to her EP.
