Flight Facilities & Owl Eyes explore the chaotic energy of touring in “Trouble”

Flight Facilities have released their new single “Trouble” in collaboration with Owl Eyes and is a homage to 2000s dance music, conceived during Flight Facilities’ 2023 Ibiza DJ sets and further developed with longtime collaborator Owl Eyes and Jack Glass.

The track is a tribute to the classics, drawing inspiration from iconic moments of the era. It seamlessly blends the warmth and ecstasy of turn-of-the-century dance-pop with Flight Facilities’ distinctive anthem style. Flight Facilities expressed their thoughts on the single, stating, “Trouble, in many ways, is a return to our origins in taste, influence and collaboration. Working with Owl Eyes and Bag Raiders’ Jack Glass, to reference some turn-of-the-century dance-pop was such a natural fit. We’ve always had a special nostalgia for the 2000s, so any excuse to inject its sound into today is one we’ll take.”

Owl Eyes added, “This silly little song is an ode to the chaotic energy of those early touring years with my lifelong friends Jimmy and Hugo. It’s also an anthem for anyone with a fun party alter ego. I like to think mine, aka Bailey, actually took over and wrote this song.”

“Trouble” follows the success of last year’s The Decades Tour, where Flight Facilities showcased their DJ skills and curated mixes across 40 years of music history.
