Lights’ PEP is still an immersive and enjoyable experience of storytelling one year later

I recently got an email in my inbox from Lights – as I am a big fan of the artist and part of her mailing list – saying that it has been one year since the release of her latest album, so I thought it would be a better time than any to reflect on Lights’ “PEP”. One year ago, Lights released “PEP” which showcased her exceptional talent as both a producer and vocalist over 13 songs. To say the album is a perfect blend of energetic pop tunes would be an understatement, as the album offers a glimpse into her diverse range through introspective ballads that explore themes of self-reflection, love, and hope, and I think my sentiment still holds true one year later.

One year later, “PEP” is still a testament to Lights’ talent and dedication to her craft. The album showcases her growth as an artist and is sure to appeal to both longtime fans and new listeners alike to this day.
