Linney – One More Day

Linney, the electronic pop artist out of Los Angeles, has released her latest single “One More Day,” a euphoric and motivating anthem about cherishing family connections and seizing the day. This dance production follows her previous successful releases and continues to showcase more of her emotive delivery and captivating storytelling. Linney’s transcendent voice takes center stage as she showcases her skilful songwriting and electrifying instrumentals. As a vocal artist and accomplished songwriter, Linney firmly establishes her honest lyrics with this release.

“I wrote this one about my dad,” Linney says about her new song. “He had a heart attack and lost half of his left ventricle when I was 7. He survived it but has since had a pacemaker put in and a few complications. Apparently the normal heart pumping efficiency rate is 50-75% and he’s been at 30% since he lost that part of his heart. He called me a few months back and told me his cardiologist said he’s dropped to 20% and he’s too old for a transplant. He was excited when he told me there was another option – open heart surgery to install a pump in his heart – something that they use for people who are waiting for a transplant. This freaked me out – but he was excited about it because it was an alternative to death. And his optimism inspired me. So we wrote it from his perspective about wanting so badly to live life to its’ fullest, that there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for one more day here.”

Alle The Dreamer – Magic

Tove Lo’s character finds herself caught in a twisted dance with a mysterious stranger, as she’s drawn deeper and deeper into a world of obsession and lust.

“Borderline is a song about being on the edge of love,” Tove Lo says about the story of her newest song. The drama you cause inside yourself and with another person if you feel insecure. You test them. This song has existed for a long time and I’ve always felt it was incredibly special so getting to release it now has sort of a full-circle feeling.”

Noelle – Mars
