MOTHICA pays homage to introverts in her new song ‘SENSITIVE’

MOTHICA is a Los Angeles-based alternative-pop singer-songwriter and her newest song, ‘SENSITIVE’, is essentially an ode to introverts – lyrically and visually.

Following on from the release of her song ‘CASUALTY’ earlier in the year, MOTHICA’s newest song continues to showcase more of what has made her a stalwart within the alt-pop scene: the consistent layer of beats that guides the song’s over-arching soothing vocals. Additionally, though, the relevant and personal lyrics for this song are a nice touch – specifically in the way they translate nuances of an introverted life – smashed into a nicely put-together 2-minute song.

With this song, MOTHICA wanted to make the most upbeat and aggressive song about being an introvert, and it is easy to say she has achieved that tenfold.

MOTHICA explains: “[Because] that’s how it feels to me when I have trouble expressing my emotions, sometimes it comes out as anger and frustration of being misunderstood. So we combined a metal guitar with a driving dance bass to illustrate this emotion just in time for Pisces season.”
