Mia Baron’s newest single, “Rules Are Mine,” was originally written out of frustration when someone close to her kept putting her second, when in fact, she was always putting them first.
“It was also a time when I really needed them to have my back,” Mia says on the influence of the song. “I ended up not being able to count on them.”
There was a turning point in Mia’s life where she had to make a decision to put herself first and refuse to participate in that negativity by putting some distance between herself and that aforementioned person. By doing that, Mia was able to take back control of her own life and also gain confidence in herself.
