Forget all about life’s issues and dance along to KLP’s new song ‘Busy Dancing’

It has been a while since KLP was last featured on Eat This Music, so it feels good to have her back again on the website in some capacity, especially this time around since it is actually KLP’s first solo single in years. The new song is titled ‘Busy Dancing’, and it showcases where KLP’s strength is at, in the fantastic way she is able to incorporate beat-heavy, foot-stomping, dance floor homages in modern scenarios.

The latest single coming out of the Sydney artist’s camp offers more of what fans have come to love about KLP and her assortment of music: the immaculate portrayal of signature synth bass and low-end heavy drums beats, mixed in with tiny defined thumping dancefloor nuances, and lyrics touching on relatable sentiments. In the case of ‘Busy Dancing’, it’s about forgetting about all of life’s issues and boring tasks including “paying the rent” when you’re dancing.

Following on from the release of ‘Eat The Runaway’, KLP’s feel-good beats and hypnotizing instrumentals are some of the best aspects of her musical prowess. KLP didn’t have much to say about the song, as she was busy dancing. “Song is on repeat,” she said. “Come find me on the dance floor.”

KLP’s ‘Busy Dancing‘ is out now via Medium Rare Recordings.
