BubblePop, the first festival in Europe focused on Asian music, is coming to Barcelona

BubblePop, the first festival in Europe focused on Asian music, is coming to Barcelona on July 1st and 2nd. The festival will take place at Fira Barcelona Montjüic and will feature exclusive concerts, as well as cultural and gastronomic experiences celebrating the Asian community. With the aim of honouring and celebrating the Asian community, while also catering to the hundreds of thousands of Western fans of K-Pop and J-Pop, BubblePop offers an affordable opportunity for young audiences to come together and enjoy Asian music.

The festival boasts an impressive lineup, including LeeHi, a South Korean artist with over 500 million views on YouTube and a legion of fans around the world. LeeHi’s hits such as ONLY, HOLO, and BREATHE are sure to get the crowd moving. REI AMI, known for her urban hits Freak, DICTATOR, and Snowcone, will be performing in Europe for the first time. Superorganism, the London band led by Orono Noguchi, will also be playing their world-famous hits Something for Your M.I.N.D. and Everybody Wants to Be Famous.

JUNNY, the South Korean artist at the height of his international fame, will visit Spain for the first time. Oceanfromtheblue will present his new album, xooos, which will make its debut outside of Asia, while Milena will also be performing. From Japan, electronic rap duo DONGURIZU, whose hit NO WAY went viral recently, will also be on the lineup. The festival’s poster and mascot have been created by the Barcelona-born, Seoul-based artist duo Hanavbara, two sisters specialising in digital illustration with more than 500 thousand followers on Instagram.

Tickets for the festival go on sale on March 20th, with more international names set to join the lineup in the coming days. BubblePop promises to be a unique and exciting celebration of Asian music, culture, and cuisine, bringing together fans from around the world for an unforgettable experience.
