Felicity’s second EP, 4PM In The Morning, is a wild, emotional ride through late-night thoughts, heartbreak, and a whole lot of self-reflection. The 5-track release is packed with killer hooks, sharp lyrics, and genre-crossing production.
Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Felicity has been chasing her dream all over the globe, eventually landing in Nashville – where things started to click. Signing with East Music Row Records and teaming up with songwriters like Asia Whiteacre, Johnny Gates, and producer Austin Luther, she’s built a sound that’s polished but still personal.
The EP features previously released singles like “Half Sad,” “I’ll Have What He’s Having,” and “Denver Airport,” and fills in the rest of the emotional rollercoaster with two fresh singles: the fiery “Bad Waste of Good Oxygen” and the introspective title track.
Felicity’s voice is front and center on every song – offering raw, honest, and powerful – showing a glimpse of her multifaceted expertise. Whether she’s belting over a pop-rock breakdown or leaning into a moody, synth-driven groove, she showcased all of her hard work. And lyrically, this EP feels like you’re scrolling through the Notes app of someone who’s lived a lot, loved hard, and stayed up too late thinking about all of it.
The title of the EP comes from a lyric in “Half Sad,” but it also perfectly sums up the vibe. As Felicity puts it:
“The world feels like it’s turned on its head at the moment, up is down, day is night and all I can do is write songs and watch the sun come up cause I haven’t gone to bed yet.”
Essentially, the EP is full of music for anyone who’s ever been stuck in their own head at 3am, overthinking texts or memories, and trying to figure it all out.
Felicity might be relatively new on the scene, but this EP proves she’s got something special – relatable, clever songwriting and the kind of voice that sticks with you – and 4PM In The Morning is a big step forward. It is exciting to imagine where she goes next.
