SOFI TUKKER’s “BREAD” is an invitation for a shared experience

Australian producer and DJ Odd Mob and Swedish DJ and producer DJ Seinfeld have each delivered unique reimaginings of SOFI TUKKER’s infectious track “BREAD,” with both remixes now available for fans to enjoy. These fresh takes on the song bring distinct flavours to an already dynamic track, adding layers of depth and energy to the original.

“BREAD” serves as the title track from SOFI TUKKER’s latest album. Beyond its irresistible rhythm, the track is laden with meaning. The title symbolises abundance, energy, and togetherness, while also acting as an acronym for “Be Really Energetic And Dance.” This dual meaning underscores the band’s invitation to connect and share joy through music—a true call to “break bread” on the dance floor.

Odd Mob’s remix ventures into darker territory, lending a fresh, moody edge to the vibrant track. On his creative approach, Odd Mob shared, “It was good fun to add a darker touch to such a fun and unique tune.” SOFI TUKKER, longtime admirers of Odd Mob’s work, expressed their excitement for his contribution: “We’ve been playing tons of Odd Mob music in our DJ sets for years, and we’re super excited to release this version of ‘BREAD’ from him. We’ve been playing it out for a while, and it hits really hard; it’s great for DJs.”

Meanwhile, DJ Seinfeld offers a completely different perspective on “BREAD,” infusing it with the spirit of 90s rave culture. SOFI TUKKER commended his vision: “We love this guy and we’re huge fans of his. He took it to a super interesting 90s rave place and re-imagined it in a way we wouldn’t have thought of. It’s also been crushing in our DJ sets; we’re honored to have a remix from him.”

The remixes come as SOFI TUKKER rides the momentum of a triumphant North American headline tour. Critics lauded their performances, with Sweety High declaring their “global sound… feels destined to take over the world,” and mxdwn calling their concerts “a concert fans won’t ever forget.” Next, the duo heads to Europe to support Kygo for the remainder of November and into early December, bringing their electric live performances to audiences across the continent.
