Immi Dash’s debut EP is about the evolution of difficult emotions

Immi Dash has crafted a debut EP that is as diverse and enticing as her journey. ‘Falling Apart at the Seams’ is a soundscape where Immi glides over punchy beats and high-octane confidence vocals, to present a rich offering of personal brilliance.

The EP kicks off with the flowing summer-breeze vibes of ‘Overkill,’ setting the tone for a journey through Immi’s emotional landscape. ‘Final Scene‘ follows with bold assuredness, showcasing her vocal artistry and lyrical depth. Each track, from the anthemic emotion of ‘Jaded‘ to the infectious melodies of ‘Reckless,’ captivates with its own unique charm.

Immi Dash – at just 22 years old – exudes contemporary R&B spirit with her international background, born in Scotland to British and Trinidadian parents, raised in California, and now based in Liverpool, England, infuses her music with a global perspective. This cultural amalgamation becomes evident in the EP, creating a refreshing blend of influences that elevates her work.

“’Falling Apart at the Seams’ EP is about evolving as a person & dealing with difficult emotions whilst balancing the pressures of life,” Immi says about the title of her EP. “After writing with Cal Lewis for a year, these songs feel the most honest and raw. Putting music out sometimes feels like everything has to be immediately perfect. But, the title represents that imperfections can help to create something complete and real. It feels like sharing my inner dialogue with the world.”

Immi Dash not only establishes herself as a force to be reckoned with in contemporary R&B but also as an artist unafraid to embrace vulnerability.
