David Holmes’ “Stop Apologising” is a story about resilience and self-belief

David Holmes‘ pulsating new single titled “Stop Apologising” – featuring the vocals of Raven Violet – is to be part of his upcoming album, due out for release in November; this track emerges as a beacon of 21st-century glam electro-disco.

“Stop Apologising” is a story about resilience and self-belief. David, joined by the ethereal vocals of Raven Violet, crafts a landscape that is bathed in the psychedelic energy, offering an anthem to the over-thinkers who find solace in breaking free from the shackles of needless worry.

David’s forthcoming album, “Blind On A Galloping Horse“, serves as a 14-track exploration of the last decade. It’s an album full of analogue drum machines, synths, and the collaborative vocals. The album itself will take you on a journey through David’s battles with mental health while simultaneously examining a Britain visibly buckling in real-time.

A unique aspect of the album is the inclusion of spoken word accounts from Afghan and Ukrainian refugees, a Palestinian ambulance driver, and French and Irish observers of the UK’s recent turmoil. Those voices contribute to the album’s overarching theme – a call to action, a motivation, and a head-clearing, slate-wiping journey. But you will have to wait until November to hear it in full.

David Holmes and Raven Violet’s Stop Apologising is a sonic voyage full of rich textures, hypnotic beats, and Raven’s vocals.
