Tash Blake’s “Inject Me” is an infectious, bold statement of passion and desire

Update (29/4/23):

Tash’s music video for her latest single is now online, and it is a beaut.

Original post (26/4/23):

LA-based singer, songwriter, and self-proclaimed “the possible lovechild of Brittney Spears, Lady Gaga, and Madonna” Tash Blake has released her brand new, delicious single, “Inject Me“, full of energetic and infectious dance beats throughout, this new track is a bold and forward statement of passion and desire that continues to show Tash’s growth as a young artist.

From the theatrical beginning to the uptempo beats, Tash Blake’s pop production is nothing short of spectacular. The instrumentals are tightly woven together, providing a driving force behind the song. The infectious beats and captivating synths will have you hooked from the very first note. The production quality of this track is top-notch and showcases Tash’s skills as a talented musician and producer.

But it’s Tash’s vocals that really shine on “Inject Me”, as the lyrics are an in-your-face experience and unapologetic inspiration from the legendary pop icons that have come before her. Her voice is powerful and commanding across the nearly 3-minute offering, yet she still maintains a vulnerability through her vocal range that draws in an impressive, effortless note structure with precision and control.

In “Inject Me,” Tash takes an edgy path to become a beacon of power and inspiration for women today. The lyrics are forward and explore the feverish desire for passionate love, indulging in the harsh reality of indefinite heartache and distress that often follows. Tash’s lyrics speak to a deep desire and need for strong love, even if it ends up hurting her.

“I have always felt this deep desire and need for a strong love even if it ends up hurting me, I’d rather feel something than feel nothing at all,” Tash says about the release of her new song. “‘Inject Me’ expresses exactly that. Throughout the song, I talk about performing and I pulled inspiration from both how I want such an intense love before I die and how the industry can be a magical yet dark place where you can feel very loved, but overwhelmingly alone and I have always been fascinated by that contradiction.”

Tash Blake’s “Inject Me” is an infectious, attention-grabbing statement song that showcases her undeniable talent as a musician and producer. Following on from the release of her debut single “Mannequin” and the follow-up track “So Bad Together” gaining momentum, it’s clear that Tash Blake is mastering her craft with each release.
