tiffi explores the intimacy of heartbreak in her new single ‘Hoodie’

tiffi‘s newest single “hoodie” is a dreamy pop track produced by anonymous lo-fi producer City Girl. The song features a contrast between a hopeful indie-pop guitar beat and lyrics that explore deeper emotions of loss and heartbreak. The star of the track is tiffi’s signature vocals, which are both sugar-sweet and intense as she delivers lyrics filled with desperation and pain.

Speaking about the single, tiffi revealed that she wrote “hoodie” with an old internet friend, inspired by the idea of a guy wanting his hoodies back from his ex-girlfriend after a breakup, which ultimately becomes a confession of wanting her back. Despite singing from a female perspective and even poking fun at the guy’s heartbreak, tiffi admits to feeling those same emotions herself.

In addition to the single, tiffi also stars in the official music video directed. The video invites viewers into tiffi’s intimate space, as she sets up a camcorder and mic in her room, and takes us on a journey of heartbreak and vulnerability. From swaying on a rooftop under a cloudy sky to crouching next to a karaoke machine in a dimly lit room, tiffi’s visuals are both captivating and emotionally charged.

tiffi’s “hoodie” is a well-crafted pop song showcasing her talent as a singer and songwriter. The track’s dreamy instrumentals and intense lyrics create a unique sound that is both catchy and meaningful. With this single, tiffi proves that she is a force to be reckoned with in the pop music scene.
