Juliana Tucker’s debut EP is a self-reflective exploration of growth and evolution

Los Angeles-based pop artist Juliana Tucker has just released her debut EP, “The Great Indoors.” The EP is a self-reflective body of work that shows Juliana’s growth and evolution as a singer and songwriter. The EP comprises six songs, each one showing a different side of Tucker’s personality, her experiences, and her emotions.

Juliana describes herself as a girl who writes songs about her life. She grew up in a musical household, and music has always been a part of her. Her songs are a direct reflection of her current life experiences and emotions. In the EP, she talks about growing up, change, acceptance, and the growing pains of life.

The EP’s first track, “Let Me Loose,” is a song about friendship breakups. Juliana’s lyrics describe the difficulties of growing apart from friends, which can be extremely upsetting and heartbreaking. She hopes to shed light on this dark moment for people who have gone through the same thing.

Another highlight of the EP is the song “Alone But Not Lonely”, which is about people pressuring Juliana to settle down, but she’s happy with the way things are. The song is an empowering anthem that encourages listeners to live life on their terms.

The title track, “The Great Indoors,” was the last song written on the EP. The song talks about how Juliana has learned to prioritise things that mean the most to her, such as her music, her family and friends, and her alone time. The song is a reminder that it’s essential to take care of oneself.

Juliana is very straight-to-the-point with her writing – as evident in the lyrics. She writes music the same way she would say it during an in-person conversation. This style of writing makes her songs feel natural and allows listeners to connect with them on a personal level.

In the EP, Juliana showcases her pop production skills. The songs are catchy and have an upbeat tempo. The vocal production on the EP is also impressive, with Tucker showcasing her vocal range and ability to convey emotions through her voice. Tucker’s vocals are at the forefront of the EP, and they blend seamlessly with the pop production.

Juliana collaborated with other songwriters, Daniel Davila and Cooper Hudson Bell, to write five out of the six songs on the EP. The collaborative writing experience in the studio was a fun one for Juliana, and she loved being able to broaden her knowledge of songwriting.

“The Great Indoors” is a fantastic debut EP from Juliana Tucker. The EP showcases Juliana’s growth as a singer and songwriter and is a great reflection of her personality, experiences, and emotions. The EP is relatable, catchy, and empowering, and Tucker’s straight-to-the-point writing style makes it easy for listeners to connect with the songs.
