Jack co-wrote the track with Matt Mason of DMA’S and co-produced it with Matt Corby, who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Budjerah, Sia, Tash Sultana, and Jarryd James. The result is a lush and layered sound that is both minimal and potent, that showcases Jack River’s inspiration in full swing.

The song was brought to life with the help of Matt Corby, who helped add the finishing touches to the sound. Genesis Owusu’s contribution was a pipe dream that turned into reality, and he brings his effortless brand of cool, calm, and collection to the song.

“Endless Summer” is just a taste of what’s to come from Jack’s upcoming 10-track sophomore album, also titled Endless Summer. The album was written just prior to Jack finding out she was expecting her first child, and it serves as an oasis amid the apocalyptic horrors of the climate disaster. Jack’s mind was at the forefront of her thoughts when she came to record the album, and it is sure to be a standout release this year.

Jack River’s “Endless Summer” is an exciting and refreshing take on the psych-folk sound, and the duet with Genesis Owusu is a standout track that is sure to leave an impact on listeners once the album drops in June.
