Marie Noreger’s ‘THE VIEW’ is a stellar song that showcases offers a glimpse into 70’s inspired retro filters, mixed with Marie’s contemporary take on R&B beats and electronic music, the hypnotising bassline provides an added layer of guidance underneath Marie’s alluring vocals as explores the story of how surrounding yourself with the right people can change your mindset, for the better.
Speaking on the release of the song, Marie explains that it is actually really funny how it works in its own right: “I can walk the same street a hundred times,” Marie continues. “One day everything might look ugly and dark and empty.. the next day it might look colourful and beautiful.. and it’s just because I’m feeling different.”
Essentially, Marie realised that she viewed the world more beautifully when she was with the people she loved, so she evidently wrote a song about it! Following on from the release of Marie’s self-produced single ‘SLOOOWLY’ in February, this brand new song additionally comes off her EP.
