little luna is a Los Angeles artist and her newest song “the glass” is used as a platform to showcase the exploration of introspective relationships. Coming off the release of her debut EP, out in May, “the glass” subsequently came at a time of little luna’s life when she was doing her own inner introspecting.
It’s evident throughout this song’s nearly three-minute runtime that little luna – who also happens to be a wellness advocate – gained inspiration for its theme after a revelation she had while looking in the mirror. In fact, she details that very notion below.
“[W]e all have parts of ourselves that are wonderful, and we all have parts of ourselves that are not great,” little luna says on the release of her single. “[B]ut to be able to look at yourself in the mirror, for all that you are, and not be scared of what you see, is a part of the journey to knowing yourself fully and deeply. to alchemize yourself, to truly transform your life, you can’t sweep the things you don’t want to deal with within yourself, under the rug.”
