Freya Beer is the type of artist that continues to develop her sound, and with ‘Love Child’, you’re going to hear Freya’s portrayal of glam goth-noir, whilst experiencing a song that explores the fateful tale of toxic relationships and lifting the veil on this external saboteur.
Hailing from London, Freya uses her new song to pepper pseudo-religious imagery and soundbites, hinting toward a toxic individual’s ability to pose as some sort of spiritual being. Sonically, though, the ‘Love Child’ is heavily encompassed with reverberated guitars, over-arching violins, snare drums, and brooding bass lines. All of those aforementioned instrumentals work well to bring together Frey’s signature production style.
Having first come across Freya in November 2019, she has been a mainstay on Eat This Music and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future… why wouldn’t she?
