AURORA explores the disguises of life in her new single “A Dangerous Thing”

AURORA has released two brand-new songs in the lead-up to the release of her forthcoming album, which will be released next week. The song is called “A Dangerous Thing“, and it is a song that continues to showcase AURORA’s beautiful, delicate vocals, whilst guiding the finely tuned soundscape.

The team that worked on the production of this track deserves some props too, as this is a song with tightly placed underlies of instrumentals and euphoric sounds (guitars, keys, bridge, etc). Speaking on the release of the single, AURORA explains that there’s a lot of beauty in this world. A there’s a lot of ugly.

“I was surprised to learn how often the ugly is disguised as beauty,” she says. “How often poison is disguised as wine. And life disguised as death. And when we learn that what we thought was good for us, is in fact bad for us – even then we tend to go return to it. Because at least it’s familiar. And all we ever dream about is home. Seductive, yet destructive. A dangerous thing indeed.”

You can find AURORA’s other new song, “Everything Matters” here.
