Let’s Eat Grandma explore the essence of friendship in their new single ‘Happy New Year’

“Best friends Rosa and Jenny, the talented duo behind Let’s Eat Grandma, have just dropped their friendship-bonding single ‘Happy New Year.’ This blissful, upbeat track serves as the opening number of their highly-anticipated third album, set to hit shelves in April.

‘Happy New Year’ is a tribute to Rosa’s relationship with Jenny and was written after a difficult period in their friendship. Rosa reflects on their shared childhood memories and sees the new year as a fresh start for their bond. The song highlights how their relationship has evolved, but also how it remains stronger than ever.

The music video for ‘Happy New Year’ was released just in time for the Australian Open tennis tournament, but we can all agree that the timing is just a coincidence. Fans of Let’s Eat Grandma, myself included, have been eagerly awaiting new music since the release of ‘Falling into Me’ back in 2018. This new track has only added fuel to the fire, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of their upcoming album has in store.”
