360(5) Days of “Falling & Flying”: Throw it away with Josh Pyke

This Friday marks the 10th year anniversary edition release of 360’s double-platinum, multi-award-winning album “Falling & Flying“, an album that shot him to the tops of the Australian music industry and made him a household name per se and one of the most well-known artists to hit the scene, and whilst since then, 360 has gone on to release further music that kept him at the forefront of the Australian hip-hop scene, it is the very album where his true artistry as a singer, songwriter, and lyricist shined.

Day 3 of 360(5) Days of “Falling & Flying” on Eat This Music is dedicated to one of the very few collaborations off the album. The song is titled ‘Throw It Away‘ and it features the vocals of Josh Pyke, who brings a lot more to this song than his delicate, soothing vocals.

The strongest aspect of this song is the lyrical prowess, in which 360 is able to explore the story of fighting the establishment and not wasting your life away in a 9-to-5 job.

Featuring tracks like “Boys Like You”, “Run Alone”, “Killer”, and “Broken Wings”, 360’s collective tracks within this record shined throughout each song in their own way, so it is fitting 360 gets an entire week to himself here on Eat This Music – along the lines of fellow artist Amy Shark – also because 360 was nice enough to have a chat, which will be published on Friday to coincide with the release – so stay tuned.
