Eat This Song of the Day: ‘Sweeter Things’ by Jacqueline Tucci

Today’s delicious song of the day is ‘Sweeter Things‘ from Toronto-based alternative musician, Jacqueline Tucci! Jacqueline’s ‘Sweeter Things’ was written at a time when she was feeling frustrated with the state of the world. “I wanted to write about it and use my voice through my music, but I felt nervous about possibly stepping on some toes in doing so,” she explains.

Essentially this song is about shedding those insecurities and finding the confidence to speak your mind. Jacqueline adds: “It’s a statement that I’m not going to put myself in a box to meet someone else’s expectations. I’m not trying to be sweet, I’m trying to be honest, and right now I have something to say.”

I am getting vibes of Colleen Green and Tessa Violet when listening to this new single from Jacqueline and thought it was worth the share. I hope you like it as much as I do right now.
