Leah Kate explores being ghosted by a crush in her new single ‘WTF?’

Leah Kate is a pop artist out of New York and recently the Manhattan native released her brand new single ‘WTF?‘, a song essentially about trying to comprehend why she was ghosted by a crush.

Going into detail about the single, Leah Kate explains how she wanted to “remind girls and anyone not to let someone make you think that YOU did something.”

“Sometimes you have to make light of situations and know that it is not meant to be. Sometimes, you just have to laugh at situations and realize it’s just your ego talking, you probably don’t really give a fuck, be strong.”

While this is a down right pop anthem at heart, the story touches on a subject matter close to many people… that distant communication and lack of reply. Leah Kate’s brand new pop anthem offers a whole lot of bright electronic synths and vocal range to encapsulate the story’s arc.

Following on from the releases of her previous singles ‘Have to Forget‘ and ‘LA‘ – which is worth a listen ‘LA’ is a popping banger – in 2018, Leah Kate has a whole genre yet to explore and play with. 2019 looks to be a big year, stay tuned!
