KLP explores changing mentally and physically in her new offering as a label boss with ‘Changes’

Back in October 2016 KLP (Kristy Lee Peters) released an EP called ‘Ember’, which featured six songs of great pop goodness, from collaborations with Remi to great offerings like Back In The Room, Already There and the title track Ember.

Since the release of Ember, KLP has gone on to release remixes of Ember, continue to do her weekly radio program and head out on the road for her Mix Match Tour – which is currently on – where she played gigs throughout Australia in Ballarat, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle and Adelaide with four more shows to go in Wollongong, Hobart, Devonport and Canberra in July.

Prior to the Mix Match Tour, KLP released a new single ‘Change’, which as the title implies, is about change. ‘Change’ isn’t just a song title, it is a mental and physical change for KLP, as she goes from DJ/Singer-songwriter to boss. Changes isn’t just a song, it is a rejuvenation for KLP as it also serves as her first single as the head of her own record label.

Boasting with more electronic vibes, pop-filters, KLP’s impeccable vocal range, synths, beats, drums and an overlay of other multi-instrumental assortments, KLP has managed to create another great addition to her already strong stable of tracks, all within this short three minute and nine-second offering.

With KLP currently on holiday in Japan, I am unable to include quotes from KLP on what Changes is actually about, why KLP chose to release Changes, how it feels to be the head of her label and other good stuff, as we are currently waiting for the reply e-mail – which won’t come until KLP is back in Australia. Until then, you can listen to KLP’s new single ‘Changes’ below.
