PRINS’ COOL is a playful, confident anthem built for late nights

Following her breakout run with Run!, PRINS has delivered another bold, high-energy track that proves she’s not just rising — she’s sprinting straight into pop’s global spotlight – and showing how COOL she truly is.

PRINS has never shied away from making big statements in her music. Last year’s Savage was a fiery celebration of self-empowerment, while Copycat Killer dug deeper, tackling identity and the pressure of conformity, COOL channels that same fearless energy but translates it into something playful and club-ready. It’s a confident anthem built for late nights and packed dance floors — all hooks, attitude, and pure fun.

The track was co-written in Los Angeles with Dillon Deskin, where their creative spark goes back to the pandemic, when PRINS first connected with him online, but it wasn’t until the borders reopened that they hit the studio in person. “Lost Boy was someone whose production I’d admired for years,” PRINS says. “Being in the studio with him and creating a track like this was a dream.”

That dream comes alive in the production: with shimmering synths, a driving beat, and layers of polish from Pierre Blondeau and John-Adam Howard, and with mixing by Scotty Desmarais and mastering from Grammy-winner Chris Gehringer.

COOL is the second taste of PRINS’ upcoming EP Heaven or Hell (due early 2026), and it’s clear this project is shaping up to be her boldest yet. If Run! was the breakout, and COOL is the flex, then the full EP promises to capture the entire range of her artistry: raw emotion, flirtation, drama, and hooks big enough for your head to explode.
