Music fans around the world turned to Spotify during the first weekend of Coachella to get into the festival spirit. According to Spotify, there are over 365,000 fan-generated Coachella playlists on the platform, with these playlists being streamed over 10 million times so far this year.

When it comes to the 2023 lineup, highly-anticipated performers like Bad Bunny, Frank Ocean, Gorillaz, Kali Uchis, ROSALÍA, BLACKPINK and Charli XCX dominated these Coachella playlists with tracks like “Feel Good Inc.” by Gorillaz, “Pink + White” by Frank Ocean, “Tití Me Preguntó” by Bad Bunny, “telepatìa” by Kali Uchis and “DESPECHÁ” BY ROSALÍA as some of the most popular songs added to user-generated Coachella playlists.*

One of the most highly-anticipated performers of the festival was Frank Ocean, who returned to the stage after a nearly six-year hiatus. In fact, streams of his music increased 70% on Friday ahead of his Sunday performance, and “Slide (feat. Frank Ocean and Migos)” by Calvin Harris saw a 135% spike over the course of the weekend.

Punjabi artist Diljit Dosanjh, the first-ever Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella, saw a 100% increase in streams on Spotify on Sunday following his performance.

For fans who want to keep the energy going, they can even Blend with BLACKPINK to merge their personal taste with one of the biggest names in K-Pop. With one weekend down and one more to go, it will be exciting to see what other surprises Coachella has in store for music fans around the world.
