Marco Dalla Villa – Baltasound

Marco discovered a unique way of releasing his newest song whilst feeding his creativity. Exploring the world virtually on Google Maps, he discovered the remote village of Baltasound and was enraptured by the unspoiled beauty of the sleepy town. “It was the first time that I have played outdoors without an audience and it felt so incredible to perform in such a breathtaking location, with so much empty space around me,” Marci says on the release of the video. “When the first drop came in, I raised my head, and instead of people dancing there was a sheep staring back at me!! It was impossible not to laugh at that moment!”

Monsieur Frazier & Nick Garcia – Keep You Close

Los Angeles-based producer, DJ, and label head Monsieur Frazier has released his debut single, “Keep You Close”. Which is a song that introduces his self-titled, three-track EP, in a way that features fellow musician Nick Garcia, which, exhibits a mixture of styles that Monsieur has brought at the forefront into his own sound, offering something entirely his own. The track amplifies its performances by showcasing solid U.K. garage-style drums and mid-range basslines, with a sample of jazz keys, and trap-style triplet rap.

Ivy Rose – Skyscrapers

This song comes off the release of Ivy’s EP “Skyscrapers”, which is used as a platform to explore the theme of a haunting love story and came together while. Ivy explains, “I want people to feel inspired, and motivated. And to feel the real pain and feelings that are behind my voice.”

Sigrid – Burning Bridges

This song is inspired by one of the toughest things Sigrid has been through personally. It’s a song that’s about the point where you just have to say in a relationship, ‘you know what, let’s just finish this’. That moment of enough is enough, and you need a clean break.

Glowie – Throwback

Glowie wrote this song at a time when she felt like she had lost some of her love for music. “I wanted to remember how I felt about music as a kid when I would dig through CDs at home, trying to find anything to listen to and when I’d find something I liked, I’d listen to it over and over and dance to it,” Glowie explains about the release of her new single. “Music was so precious to me and I wanted to feel that again. Writing ‘Throwback’ helped reinstill my love for music”. The new track is accompanied by the following video, masterminded by Glowie herself in and around her hometown.”

Devan – Feel Better

For Devan, “Feel Better” is about someone close to you going through a tough time. With mental health struggles like anxiety and depression, sometimes there’s nothing you can do to help the situation, even though you so badly wish you could. This song came out of that feeling of helplessness and is Devan’s way of saying I’m here for you even if I can’t fix this.

Selasie – Unnatural

Showcasing a solid mix of R&B and delicate vocals, this song, which was filmed in various locations around Sydney, offers a vision that wanted to keep aesthetics raw and authentic to the memories of the past love but avoiding a dark and eerie direction. This is the first of many to come and Selasie is proud of the fact he is able to bring the vision alive without a huge budget. “We wanted it to feel reminiscent of a being in and out of a dream and reality concerning someone who you are falling out of love with and I think we did that in raw way,” Selasie says on the release.

Grace McKagan – One You Love

Grace McKagan‘s newest single and video for “One You Love” is a gritty offering that delves deep into Grace’s experience with love and her relationship to the emotions that encompass it. The hazy video follows Grace as she wanders through an empty bowling hall where a stage appears, as if in a dream. She is then joined by a full band who performs the titular song alongside her to a transfixed bowler audience.

girlhouse – concussion

Coming off the release of her debut EP is ‘concussion‘, a song that perfectly showcases her newfound state of mind. Whilst this song is about a monumentally shit day. girlhouse’s first and favorite car got smashed (it was a bright orange 81 Honda Civic with a stick shift), next thing she knew she was lying on the ground, being harassed by Los Angeles firemen while a woman was screaming at her calling her a dumb bitch.

“I just have no idea what happened, all I could think about was this person that had just broken my heart, somehow nothing else mattered,” girlhouse recalls about that faithfull day. “I think I used that relationship as a distraction in a big way, it was that moment where I realized that person was taking up a lot of mental real estate and I needed to make room for actual problems in my life and move on.”
