Slumberjack – Memory (feat. Tailor)

Tasty Tuesday – Turquoise

London Based duo, Tasty Tuesday (Federico and Sour) blend sweet melodies, solid grooves and acid elements into a truly funky feast!

Brodka – Game Change

Brodka‘s ‘Game Change’ is about gender roles in society; a topic that’s particularly prevalent in her home-country of Poland at the moment, where reproductive rights are being rolled back by lawmakers. This is a heavy song: in tone, instrumentals and aesthetics.

Getting some Noga Erez vibes from this song, in the way the vibe alone hooks you in. This song also comes off the release of her new album, due out for release in 2021. Cannot wait for more upon release.

girl in red – serotonin

I have yet to be disappointed with what girl in red has produced. She continues to offer a solid vibe, witty lyrical prowess, sound and can spit rhymes with ease. She makes for an overall great project! To coincide with this new single, girl in red has also announced the release of her debut album ‘if i could make it so quiet‘, due out for release Friday April 30! Looking forward to it.

daste. – here with me (feat. DVNA)

Two worlds that have been covered on Eat This Music in the past have come together for this bittersweet anthem. The collaboration between daste. and DVNA, titled ‘here with me’, is a song that showcases one of the most soothing, calming atmospheres in any song going today.

Middle Kids – Stacking Chairs

Solid track from a solid band. Not much else to say about Middle Kids.

Tyne-James Organ – Stacking Chair

Not the most diverse song in the world, you’ve likely heard the same instrumentals and structure in other songs many times, however, Tyne-James Organ does bring a fresh, new voice to an overly flooded genre.

MayQueen – Worst Nightmare (debut)

Jess Locke – Halo

James – All The Colours of You

This is the title track of James‘ new album, which also happens to be their 16th.. you’d think for an act that is upon the release of their 16th record that they would have nothing else to say, well, they do!

Pom Pom Squad – LUX

This is Pom Pom Squad‘s first song of 2021 and their debut with City Slang Records. The band is fronted by Mia and the new song from the Brooklyn four-piece is about the traumatic throes of Mia’s own adolescent feminine awakening, while touching on the everpresent gaze of patriarchy.
