Today is a busy day for one of Australia’s most loved musicians and the fans of that musician, Peter Murray.

With the announcement of a new album, ‘Camacho’, due out for release on June 2, Pete has also released a brand new single, ‘Take Me Down’, and a huge 33-date tour throughout Australia.

The new single is a new director for Pete Murray, while he continues to keep the traits and essence of his music fans around the world have come to like about him, he is also offering something new within his Camacho release.

“Take me down is about a beautiful relationship with an unknown future, it’s about not knowing how much time is left and being in the moment. It’s emotive, moody, sexual and vulnerable.”

Camacho is set for release on June 2 and is available to pre-order from – all album iTunes pre-orders will instantly receive the Take Me Down single.

To celebrate the release of the new single and album, Pete Murray is heading on a big 33-show tour throughout Australia, which will see him perform in Brisbane, Rockhampton, Ipswitch, Gold Coast, Redland Bay, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Sydney, Bateau Bay, Port Lincoln, Adelaide, Warrnambool, Shepparton, Chelsea Heights, Hobart, Launceston, Batemans Bay, Wollongong, Canberra, Albury, Bendigo, Ballarat, Melbourne, Geelong, Geraldton, Fremantle, Dunsborough, Toowoomba, Cairns and Darwin from Friday, 14 July to Saturday, 9 September.
