Today sees the release of Australian pop artist Washington‘s brand new single ‘Dirty Churches‘; an atheistically pleasing dark pop anthem about the surrendering of relationships.
Showcasing more of that dark, slow-building synth-pop vibes and solid vocal range fans have come to love about Washington’s melodic style of music, Washington has put together another solid entry into her array of music, that not only explores the common formality of relationships, but also uses her world of sound to reach a satisfying end point through this three minute and 34 second journey.
Speaking on the release of the single, Washington explains how “It’s finally today, it’s finally now, I can finally share this song.”
“It’s called ‘Dirty Churches’ and I think it’s about compromise, although you will probably have your own thoughts.”
After having already given fans a taste of new material with the releases of ‘American Spirit‘ and ‘Claws‘ 2019 looks to be a big year of more music to come and possibly a new record. Stay tuned for more.
