The Struts are a rock band out of the UK and recently the four-piece out of London have released their new single ‘Primadonna Like Me‘, which is a song essentially about the alter-ego of their frontman Luke.
Speaking on the creation of the single, The Struts’ frontman Luke explains how the single was essentially “written about my stage character, my alter ego.”
“It’s this completely deluded guy running around his small town, all dressed to the nines—a full-on 21st century dandy going around saying, ‘Don’t you know who I think I am?’”
You know when you find one of those songs that is easy to consume and just sounds great, this is the case with The Struts’ new single. It is enjoyable, smooth and features some great rock elements that come from listening to years of hair metal bands.
