Queens of the Stone Age are still around and showing why they are one of the best rock acts in the world. Today, Queens of the Stone Age have announced their seventh studio album ‘Villains’ and given fans a first taste of it with ‘The Way You Used To Do’, which is essentially a be-bop sounding rock track that could be passed off as a rockabilly anthem.
Speaking on the album, Queens of the Stone Age frontman Joshua Homme noted how “The title Villains” has nothing to do with politics or Donald Trump.
“It’s simply 1) a word that looks fantastic and 2) a comment on the three versions of every scenario: yours, mine and what actually happened… Everyone needs someone or something to rail against—their villain—same as it ever was. You can’t control that. The only thing you can really control is when you let go.”
