Having just recently released her second LP Do With Me What U Will, not too long ago, Jessica Says is getting herself ready to head on the road for a tour, which will see her perform from Friday 14 July to Saturday 22 July in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne at 107 Projects, The Milk Factory and The Toff in Town with Gussy, Sunscreen, Emerson Snowe, May Lyn, Sarah Mary Chadwick and Callan in their respective cities.
However, before Jessica Says does head out on the road, the Melbourne based artist has dropped a music video for her new single ‘Xanax Baby’. The video for Xanax Baby is essentially a homage to Valley of the Dolls, with the use of a backdrop of a song that explores the typical femme side of addition as Jessica puts it herself.
“The video is about when you’re in a destructive, floundering relationship, and you try to go for a romantic weekend in the country to save it, except in this case the relationship isn’t with a boyfriend, it’s with a substance, or with yourself.”
‘Do With Me What U Will’ is available digitally and on pink vinyl.
