Since the release of ‘Voodoo‘ in 2015, pop artist Gia Woods has been making a name for herself within the music industry. Eat This Music first caught wind of Gia Woods when she released her first single of 2019 ‘Jump The Fence‘.

Since the release of Jump The Fence, Gia Woods has continued to grow as an artist, not just as a pop producer but also as a storyteller with a strong sense of what she wants to say.

With the release of her then latest single ‘New Girlfriend‘, Gia Woods showcased a strong sense of artistry and development as an artist. However, today sees the release of Gia Woods’ brand new single ‘Keep On Coming‘, a song essentially about waiting for someone and letting fate take its course.

Speaking on the release of the single, Gia Woods explains how Keep On Coming is “about someone’s body that ‘keeps coming’”, so to speak – meaning Gia’s character in the single “never met this person, but for some reason,” Gia is “supposed to know them” and what they are about.

“I feel like somehow life relentlessly finds a way to make paths keep crossing. This is the realization whether or not you want to meet the person, it’s inevitable.”

To coincide with the release of the single, Gia Woods has released a music video that essentially hits the nail on the head of what Gia and the single is trying to say. Its dark, brooding bloody world emphases the powerful vocal range and atmosphere of Gia’s vision.

Speaking on the video, Gia continues on the element of the story, noting how the music video “plays off the highs and lows of infatuation.

“It [the music video] shows those beginning stages where you can’t get someone out of your head and everywhere you turn there’s something there to remind you of them.”

Gia Woods is one of Eat This Music’s new favourite artists and with this continued strong send of direction for her music, Gia will soon be a favourite of many others. Stay tuned for more in 2019.
