Melbourne’s Hollow World have dropped a new music video for their latest track, ‘Defiling Paradise’, which is off their forthcoming album.
Theo Goslett, guitarist in the band said they wanted make a video that matched the lyrics they had created for the song – taking something beautiful and destroying it:
“We set out to make the clip a visual reflection of the themes of filth and decay that the lyrics explore. As the song is about man taking something beautiful and destroying it in the name of greed – we wanted the visual representation of the track to represent us in a similar manner. It was shot in that disjointed way because we thought it added to the creepiness of the lyrical themes”
Hollow World’s single Defiling Paradise will be available in all good online outlets from November 25th.
