One of my favourite bands of 2017 – and underrated act – Cherry Glazerr have today returned with a new single titled ‘Juicy Socks‘.
Coming off the release of the Los Angeles three-piece’s sophomore record ‘Apocalypstic‘ in 2017 – featuring hit singles ‘Told You I’d Be With The Guys‘ and ‘Nuclear Bomb‘ – the female-lead trio have put together a solid anthem that brings together a whole lot of gritty, glam rock that explores some bright colours and connotations.
Speaking on the new single, Cherry Glazerr frontwoman Clementine Creevy explained how “‘Juicy Socks’ is about vocalisation.”
“Using one’s voice as a strong weapon and needing to be heard in order to not feel like shit. Oh also, it’s about wanting to smash Donald Trump’s orange fuckin’ head into a brick wall!”
2018 looks to be a big year for Cherry Glazerr with more music on the way. Stay tuned!
