Black Ink are a six-piece (Sam, AJ, Kam, Scott and Skit) out of Nottingham and last week (30 November) the six-piece released a music video for their new single ‘Lights Out‘, a song that is essentially about exploring the emotions of someones mind when they’re unwell and their “own experiences of depression, anxiety and anger and about how we’ve dealt with them,” explains Black Ink‘s guitarist Kam.

“Our new material is a lot more personal and emotional, than anything we’ve previously written for our other projects.”

While Black Ink have only been together for three months, Lights Out is a fast, jam packed metal song that showcases how great Black Ink are as a six-piece unit, while also being able to tell a solid story that its close to home for many people.
