Tommy Newport is an indie rock artist out of England and recently the Manchester native released his newest single, “Yellow Lines”, a song that sees Tommy explore the feeling of losing focus – in a beat-heavy anthem that additionally showcases his rhythmic vocal range and juxtaposition of sound.
“Yellow Lines” essentially encapsulates the feeling of losing focus on the highway, while getting a quick jolt to keep your eyes on the road once you have ever so slightly crossed over those yellow lines. This new track urges the listener to wake up and to not slip across the yellow line that is life per se.
Additionally, the accompanying music video above visually depicts a similar sentiment to the aforementioned notion. Self-shot and directed by Tommy and 4th Pyramid in Los Angeles, the music video is fast paced, cinematic and raw in detail – just like the song itself.
