Luna Vexa wants you to feel that it’s okay to be alone in her new single ‘dreaming’

Luna Vexa is a pop artist out of Victoria and today saw the release of her first single of 2020 titled ‘dreaming‘. Following on from the release of her ‘BAD‘ EP in the latter part of 2019 and off her entirely crowd-funded, King Of Eve (due out in winter), ‘dreaming’ sees the Melbourne-based artist explore the story of “treasure”, as this song holds the key to Luna’s heart.

Luna wrote this song when she was very ill with autoimmune issues and couldn’t walk for about eight months. Luna became close to someone who carried her up flights of stairs, cooked for her, and calmed her tears every night at 2 am when she was terrified of what could happen to her life.

“It touches on the feeling of deep connection with a person that arrives when we’re in a vulnerable place.” — Luna on the inspiration of her new single

“Powerful and undeniable chemistry, potentially love but not knowing where we stand or how they feel about u. So we desire them. We dream of their face whenever we’re alone. We ache to be with them every waking moment,” Luna adds.

At the end of the day though, Luna hopes the mood of this song helps you feel that it’s okay to be alone, even if you are waiting in the unknown like she was. Luna Vexa is a highly underrated artist with a big voice and a whole industry to take by storm. Stay tuned for more.
