Day 13 of the 30 Day Song Challenge is ‘a song you like from the 70s’ and it would have to be the most difficult 30 Day Song Challenge I have come across to date. Even though I wasn’t even born in the 1970s, a whole lot of tracks I like were around from that decade, and only choosing one from that decade was hard.

However, for today’s challenge I have chosen ‘Blitzkrieg Bop‘ by RAMONES. A song I remember first coming across during my teenage years and thanks to the video game Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3!

Honourable mentions – somewhat – deserve to go to ‘White Riot’ by The Clash, ‘Anarchy in the U.K.’ by The Sex Pilots and ‘Sayin’ Alive’ by The Bee Gees, just to name a few, as there were top contenders for alternatives to today’s challenge.

‘Blitzkrieg Bop’ comes off the release of Ramones’ debut self-titled album originally released April 23, 1976 through Sire/ABC records.
