Coming off the release of her third studio album, due out for release in 2019, London pop artist Gabrielle Aplin has returned with ‘Nothing Really Matters‘, a bright, pop anthem about the excitement of wanting to open up.
Offering more of what Gabrielle has come to be known for, Gabrielle uses the nearly three minute anthem to showcase more of her substantial pop melodies and loud atmospheric sounds.
Speaking on the release of the single, Gabrielle explains how “‘Nothing Really Matters’ is about the battle between the excitement of wanting to open up” and also “the fear of opening up.”
“I was having one of those days where I questioned the validity and importance of everything around me, and how much time, energy and thought I gave to things that really, didn’t matter.”
“It’s about focusing on what’s really important to you,” Gabrielle concludes.
With the aforementioned scheduled for release soon, Gabrielle Aplin is using the release of her music as a platform to push herself “vocally” while also challenging the way she thinks “about structure in a song.”
“This song has really pushed me and surprised me and I’m so excited to release it into the world!”
Stay tuned for more closer to the release of the album.
