2019 has been a pretty successful year so far for Los Angeles-based electro-pop artist Elhoim, having already released Buckets earlier this month, Elohim has returned with ‘TV‘, a song that essentially works as a platform for Elohim to explore ways of dealing with anxiety.
Buckets was an interesting take on the career of Elohim, having shifted towards a more dark, distorted work of sound, TV takes a more bright direction soundwise, however, TV still features Elohim’s world of using sounds to tell a story that hits close to home for a lot of people [anxiety].
Going into detail about how Elohim created TV, Elohim explains how one night she was sitting “down at” her “dining room table late one night in august and typed into ableton ‘depressed as fuck’.”
“As i sat there alone in my cabin, nothing but the sounds of the television and my writing, the song poured out of me. I realized television is a major relief for my anxiety.”
Elohim adds: “it is [TV] the one thing I don’t take orally that can really stop my mind from spinning out. i hope this song brings you comfort and drowns out the insanity running around your mind.”
2019 will be a big year for Elohim, as all this new music and touring can only lead to more great things where Elohim will continue to use her platform to share positive vibes and messages.
