Cherry Earhart is a folk artist out of Australia and recently the Sydney-based singer-songwriter musician released is debut single ‘April ’17‘, a song essentially about addiction explains Cherry.
Going into detail about the actual single, Cherry adds how the single is his “first-hand account of addiction” and how [April ’17] is also about “finding light in the darkest places.”
“I moved to Sydney to pursue my dream of becoming an artist at the beginning of 2017. That was the first time I was so far away from my family and friends, and everything else I held dear.”
“It wasn’t long before I found myself in the darkest place of my life. I was unmotivated, uninspired, and most of all, alone,” Cherry concludes.
