ELA Lindsey is a pop artist out of Nashville and today sees the releases of her debut single ‘Healing Me Slow‘, a song that is used as a platform for the Florida-born artist to reminisce about her childhood, however, not about the good times, explains ELA Lindsey.
“I didn’t realize it at the time I wrote it, but ‘Healing Me Slow’ pretty much sums up my life.”
“Because I had a traumatic childhood, and I’m human, I spent many years closed off, bitter, and hurt,” ELA continues.
“I had to learn to open up, pursue healing for myself, and forgive.” ELA explains how she feels more like herself now more than she ever felt.
“Healing can sometimes be quick, but for me, it’s taken time and that’s ok. Love heals, and that’s what this song is about.”
Bringing together a mix of synths, beats, ELA’s vocal range and production values for days, ELA Lindsey has put together a solid debut single that showcases her strong writing skills, not just as a music but as a storyteller too.
