With Hider coming off a creatively busy 2017 – having released three singles, including fan favourite Yosemite – 2018 is looking to be a big year for London electronic-pop producer Hider already – Hider is kicking off 2018 with a brand new, slow-building offering of vibes with Don’t Pretend It Was Nothing, a song all about misreading “the signs at the start of a relationship”, explains Hider.

“The song is about when you misread the signs at the start of a relationship and want more than the other person, when you think everything was great, but you don’t get the call … that feeling of being a stop gap”

Something Hider does well is this mix of slow-burning electronic music with his brooding vocals and a solid atmosphere of vibes, which works well mixed together in this new single. With so much more of 2018 left to go, you can expect Hider will be releasing more great tracks throughout the year.
