Fuck Your Money is the new single from Los Angeles electronic artist and producer Elohim and not only is it Elohim‘s first music for 2018, but Fuck Your Money is another a new taste of what’s to come off Elohim‘s debut album, due out for release in 2018.

When Elohim was little, Elohim knew her family was different to others. Elohim and her family “didn’t have the fancy cars, the nice houses or expensive possessions,” but what Elohim did have was love. As Elohim explains, her mother would constantly remind her they were “‘rich with love.'”

“I didn’t fully grasp the incredible importance of those words until recently. Love has become my main focus in life and i now know how priceless it truly is.”

Elohim is one of my favourite music producers right now, I am a big fan of her previous releases like The Wave, Eclipse, Sleepy Eyes, Skinny Legs and a lot of other great tracks, Elohim continues to show why Elohim is one of the best producers of music in electronic genre with this new offering of sweat pop vocals, cheery-electronic vibes and a strong story.

Speaking on the creation of Fuck Your Money, Elohim explains how while Elohim was driving, Elohim came across her old house, “A couple of months ago i drove past my childhood home and started singing ‘i got love fuck your money’ out loud.. and it all came to me.”

Elohim continues how Elohim “began to form the verses, chorus and instrumental melodies in the car. i got home, showered and couldn’t stop singing it.. i jumped out in the middle of my shower to make a voice note still covered in soap.”

“when i finished my shower i drove straight to the studio to produce and finish the song. when your music and lyrics are coming from a deep genuine place they pour out of you like a faucet you can’t stop. this is f*ck your money.”

2018 is going to be a big year for Elohim and I can’t wait to hear more.
