Jordan Jaarola is a pop artist out of Melbourne and he recently released his debut single ‘Maybe It’s You‘, which is a song that is essentially about exploring the “feeling of uncertainty experienced in newfound love.”
“It’s about when you meet somebody new and you’re unsure of whether it’s going to be real and be great, or if it’s a just passing moment. Especially in this era where everything seems to be so temporary and impersonal.”
Speaking on the creation of Maybe It’s You, Jordan explains how he “teamed up with producer Susie Ahern on the single.” Adding: “The song was written a few years ago and I wanted to give it a full pop-style production.”
“We started with the beat, inspired by artists like Daley and Jhene Aiko, then laid down the lead vocal and spent a few hours adding harmonies and layers to the arrangement.”
Maybe It’s You is the first taste of what’s to come off Jordan’s forthcoming debut EP, due out for release in early 2018.
